Chengdu Textile College-UGM Students Exchange Program Opens

On 14th September, 2014, the arrival of 1 teacher and 6 students from Indonesia Universitas Gadjah Mada (short for UGM) starts the two- week exchange program in our college.

Universitas Gadjah Mada was formally established on December 19, 1949. The university is heralded as the oldest and largest institution of higher learning in Indonesia. It is one of the top vocational colleges in Indonesia. UGM aims to enable students to become educated and skilled professionals, and especially promote mastery of technical provisions.

During the following two weeks, UGM students will learn Practical Oral Mandarin, ChinesePainting, Oral English, Chinese Character Culture, Textile English and Chinese Folk Dance etc.. On the weekends, the students will visit some scenic spots of Chengdu, such as Chengdu ResearchBase of Giant Panda Breeding、Jinli Ancient Street and Sanxingdui Museum. Meanwhile, they will also have interactions with our students.

We trust that all participants will make new friends here. And believe this program will benefit both parties especially in promoting the mutual cooperation in the areas aforementioned.
